Eurolux sales representatives had to dig through historic project case studies and product specifications to match a client’s requirement to the right product combinations. It was a slow part of the sales cycle, and it often leaned on the input of senior reps, which held everything up.
02
The approach
Working closely with Eurolux senior management, we found a solid business case for giving sales reps a generative-AI assistant. Using our template-based chatbot framework, we configured and deployed Lighty within a month on an Azure AI RAG architecture. It runs on the First Digital AI RAG framework over Azure AI Services, so the data stays inside Eurolux’s own Azure tenant, with Entra ID authentication limiting access to authorised users. We kept it secure and cost-effective with an AI-workload landing configuration, including picking the most cost-effective model from the Azure AI Foundry catalogue for the job.
03
The outcome
As an early adopter of generative AI, Eurolux now has intelligent access to the knowledge it already owns. Reps get quick answers to client queries, and the product knowledge that used to live in a few people’s heads is captured for the future.
Summary & benefits
Rapid, intelligent answers drawn from existing product knowledge.
New sales reps rely less on peers for domain and product knowledge.
A foundation for future work, such as querying stock, pricing and order status from warehousing and ERP data.
